We are delighted to welcome you to our Voices of Sunshine concert. We are all certainly looking forward to more of that precious sunshine, but we hope we can brighten your evening tonight with our singing!
We are happy to be back at St Paul's Church. It's such a lovely venue and we would like to thank everyone here for all their help in making this evening's concert possible.
We have a real treat in store for you as we welcome Surrey Rainbow Choir (www.rainbowchoir.co.uk) as our guests. They are looking forward to sharing some of their favourite songs and we are delighted to be singing two songs together to close the concert.
As a community choir, Elmbridge Ladies Choir like to support local charities, or one that has a special meaning to one of our choir members. Voices of Sunshine will raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity on behalf of Emily Oliver, supporting a young girl’s fight to survive a high-grade brain tumour, a fight which she sadly lost in July 2019. Emily’s family continue to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity www.thebraintumourcharity.org. We extend a warm welcome to Emily’s parents Debi and Tim Oliver this evening, who will tell us more about the work of the charity before our interval. A collection will be made during the interval and at the end of the concert.
Sit back, relax and just have fun with Elmbridge Ladies Choir and Surrey Rainbow Choir!
